Team leader job

Under the supervision of the Manager and / or the assistant manager, the team leader is responsible for ensuring the proper operation of the restaurant, maintaining the already established working procedures and upholding a positive working environment in the absence of his superiors.

Team leader main responsibilities

  • Responsible for welcoming, integrating, and training new employees as well as monitoring their training plans
  • Oversees the implementation of Benny & Co.'s policies and procedures (operations, quality, presentation, customer service, hygiene and sanitation, etc.) by the staff
  • Sees to the smooth functioning of production orders
  • Maintains harmony within the team
  • Encourages and mobilizes the work team
  • Follows up on complaints
  • Supervises employees
  • Assigns maintenance tasks and ensures quality of work

Required qualifications

Experience

1 to 2 years experience of management and restaurant experience

Professional and technical knowledge
  • Experience in team management
  • Knowledge of cash system an asset
  • Kitchen experience within the roast chicken industry is an advantage
